170g butter

290g brown sugar

1 egg

215g flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

150g white chocolate chips

half a pack of whatever biscuits you like

method

preheat the oven to 350F. line a 9x9 baking tin with parchment paper.

in a small saucepan on medium heat, melt together the butter and brown sugar, whisking occasionally until they have melted together, set aside to cool to room temp.

whisk the egg into the cooled butter mixture, then using a spoon stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt until a stiff dough forms, stir in chocolate chips.

pour the batter into the baking tin, place the biscuits on top, bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden and the edges are a deeper colour:)
