i didn’t have any muffin liners, so i just brushed the tin with butter then sprinkled in some sugar, it forms a slight crust!

makes 12

2 1/2 cups flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

pinch of salt

1 standard size packet of chocolate chips

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 cup milk

capful of vanilla

method

preheat the oven to 425F, line a muffin tin with muffin liners.

combine the flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and chocolate chips in a large bowl, set aside.

in a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla until fully combined.

add the wet ingredient to the dry, mixing together using a wooden spoon until it’s 3/4 of the way to fully mixed (the worst thing you can do with muffins is over mix them, you want wet/dry patches).

spoon the mixture into your muffin tin, sprinkle with some big sugar to get that bakery look!

bake for 5 minutes, then reduce the oven to 375F, bake for another 12-15 minutes:)
